Night of Elegance
The Night of Elegance was originally held in 1992 by the Positive Black Men Coalition. It has become an annual event since held in the most prestigious Hotels in the Washington, DC area. The event is held every year on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. This year, 2008, Positive Black Men Coalition will celebrate its 16th year Anniversary hosting this event. The Night of Elegance has been hosted by entertainers such as Anthony Hamilton, Roy Ayers, Kim Kemistry, Kindred & The Family Soul, Dave Hollister, Howard Hewlett, Keith Washington, Mikki Howard, Christopher Williams, and local bands to name a few.
New Years Eve
The New Years Eve Gala has been held at the most prestigious hotels in the Washington, DC area. For the past three years we have presented in concert entertainers such as Roy Ayers, Howard Hewlett, Mikki Howard, and Halo. PBMC also provides an after party with a midnight champagne toast, party favors and multiple ballrooms hosted by DC finest DJ's and live bands.
World's Largest Super Bowl Party
The World's Largest Super Bowl Party was something that we tried in 2001 and decided to continue with in 2002-Present. This event has been hosted by WPGC DJ's, Personalities, local DJ's and local bands. It is held at the Hyatt Regency (Crystal City) on Super Bowl Sunday.
Moonlight Cruise Series
This is an event that we started back in the day and decided to bring it back in 2004. It is aboard the Aboard the Luxurious Odyssey Cruise Ship located at the Water Front of South West in the District of Columbia. It has been host by DJ's from WPGC 95.5 and local bands.
