Positive Black Men Coalition (PBMC) is an entertainment organization that, for the past
thirteen years, has provided upscale entertainment events in the Washington Metropolitan
Area. It is our mission to provide an upscale social environment where mature adults can
network and enjoy R&B, jazz, and old school music, as well as live entertainment. Each
event PBMC selects a charitable organization and donates a portion of the proceeds
made. To date we have made donations to the following organizations: The Root
Foundation, DC Village, Prince George's County Race for Education, Prince George's
County Battered Women's Shelter, Walker Mill Middle School, and The Red Cross - to
assist the victims of the Tsunami. Our events have been held at upscale venues
throughout the area, which include but are not limited to: Hyatt Regency Crystal City,
National Press Club, Washington Convention Center, and aboard the Odyssey Cruise
Ship. PBMC has had the privilege of having top national recording artists perform at our
events. They include Patti LaBelle, Anthony Hamilton, Roy Ayers, Kim Kemistry, and
Kindred & The Family Soul, just to name a few.
